Her 12th LP (not including her <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pastemagazine.com\/music\/taylor-swift\/speak-now-review\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">various<\/a> <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pastemagazine.com\/music\/taylor-swift\/taylor-swift-1989-taylors-version-review\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">re-recordings<\/a>) will arrive as the first proper follow-up to her 2024 releases, <em><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pastemagazine.com\/music\/taylor-swift\/taylor-swift-strikes-out-looking-on-the-tortured-poets-department\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Tortured Poets Department<\/a><\/em> and <em>The Anthology<\/em>, and her first big gesture since the conclusion of the Eras Tour last December. While pre-orders for physical copies of the new album are <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/store.taylorswift.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">available on her website<\/a>, there is no known release date at this time.<\/p>\n<div id=\"revcontent-hidden\">\n<p>What is confirmed, however, is that Swift will appear on her boyfriend (and the Kansas City Chiefs\u2019s future Hall of Fame tight end) Travis Kelce\u2019s podcast <em>New Heights<\/em>, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason, on Wednesday. When the news of her new album was unveiled online, she <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DNPbaYMuypd\/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&amp;igsh=MTJ3NWwxMG1tc2U0MQ%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">posted a clip<\/a> from the podcast on her Instagram account. \u201cI want to show you something,\u201d Swift said, revealing a mint green briefcase with \u201cTS\u201d inscribed on the front in orange lettering. \u201cThis is my brand new album, <em>The Life of a Showgirl<\/em>.\u201d As of right now, the cover art has not been disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>The news of <em>The Life of a Showgirl<\/em>, coupled with Swift <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/pop-culture\/pop-culture-news\/taylor-swift-buys-back-rights-master-recordings-first-6-albums-rcna209986\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">buying back the master recordings of her first six albums<\/a>, has all but quelled the speculations around a re-recorded version of <em>Reputation<\/em> or her self-titled debut, which have been percolating in conversations among fans for the better part of a year now.
