The track follows the release of their single <strong>Sweet And Slow<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the new single, vocalist and guitarist<strong> Cahli Blakers<\/strong> shares, <em>\u201cfunnily enough, <strong>My Heart\u2019s Dead!<\/strong> started with a<strong> KE$HA<\/strong> song. When we did <strong>triple j<\/strong>\u2019s <strong>Like A Version<\/strong> in 2024, one of the songs we considered covering was <strong>Die Young<\/strong> by <strong>KE$HA<\/strong>. It never made the cut, but we loved the bones of our interpretation and we really wanted to do something with it. We basically posed the question \u2013 what if <strong>KE$HA<\/strong> made a song with <strong>BLINK-182<\/strong>? That\u2019s where the reoccurring pop hook came from, and we obviously pumped the song full of attitude.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cahli<\/strong> continues, <em>\u201c<strong>My Heart\u2019s Dead!<\/strong> is a playful tongue-in-cheek song that dramatically asks if someone could make you fall in love again by implying that \u2018I\u2019ll never find love\u2019.
