Melissa Gilbert Hints at TV Return That Fans Have Been Waiting For<\/a> originally appeared on Parade<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n Little House on the Prairie<\/em> alum Melissa Gilbert<\/strong><\/a> gave fans a great teaser about where her work is taking her next.<\/p>\n Gilbert had a guest arc on Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart<\/em> during Season 12, and she just revealed her character will be a part of Season 13 as well.<\/p>\n On August 12, Gilbert took to Instagram<\/a> to share the news. The photo she uploaded showed the cover page for a When Calls the Heart<\/em> script. The script was for episode 6 of the upcoming season.<\/p>\n “Heading back to #hopevalleynext week. Going to play with my pals,” Gilbert wrote in the caption. She added that she couldn’t wait to return and praised the “huge” and “wonderful” cast and crew.<\/p>\n Gilbert tagged a handful of her When Calls the Heart<\/em> co-stars, including Jack Wagner<\/a><\/strong>, Erin Krakow<\/strong>, Ben Rosenbaum<\/strong>, Kevin McGarry<\/strong>, Pascale Hutton<\/strong>, and Kavan Smith<\/strong>.<\/p>\n McGarry was quick to jump in and share a tease of his own. He quipped<\/a>, “No one gives me scripts! What do I say in episode 6?” A handful of fans responded with their creative suggestions.<\/p>\n Of course, Gilbert couldn’t reveal any big spoilers about what happens when her character, Georgie McGill, returns to Hope Valley. What When Calls the Heart<\/em> fans know, at the very least, is that she will be back, and she’ll first appear in episode 6 of the new season.<\/p>\n Gilbert may just now be joining filming, but the rest of the When Calls the Heart<\/em> cast has already been hard at work for a while. On July 2, Krakow shared a short video on her Instagram page<\/a> revealing filming had started<\/a>.<\/p>\n Krakow gushed, “We got homesick. @wcth_tv is back in action filming Season 13!”<\/p>\n The revelation that Gilbert would return to When Calls the Heart<\/em> was an exciting one for eager fans.<\/p>\n One fan commented<\/a>, “So excited to see Georgie again!”<\/p>\n Another gushed<\/a>, “My heart is so happy!!”<\/p>\n “Cannot wait to see you back in Hope Valley.
