Jennifer Aniston has come under fire for reopening old wounds about her divorce from Brad Pitt as she embraces a new relationship<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Friends star, 56, rarely talks about her so-called \u201clove triangle\u201d with Brad and Angelina Jolie. But in a new Vanity Fair profile published Monday (August 11), she reflected on the media circus surrounding their split in 2005.<\/p>\n Jennifer admitted she has \u201csome PTSD\u201d<\/a> from the experience, describing it as \u201csuch a vulnerable time\u201d and recalling, \u201cI just remember the experience of doing it \u2014 which was kind of jarring. It was also such a vulnerable time. But yeah, that was one for the memoirs.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cJournalism back then felt more like a form of a sport,\u201d she said. \u201cThere\u2019s obviously some PTSD we all have, which is why [interviews] scare me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The unlucky-in-love actress dubbed the scandal \u201cthe love triangle,\u201d saying the media \u201cmade a meal\u201d out of her, Brad and Angelina. Her \u201csurvival approach\u201d was to \u201cjust pick yourself up by the bootstraps and keep on walking, girl.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt was such juicy reading for people. If they didn\u2019t have their soap operas, they had their tabloids,\u201d Jennifer said. \u201cIt\u2019s a shame that it had to happen, but it happened. And boy did I take it personally.\u201d<\/p>\n She also admitted she \u201cdidn\u2019t have a strong enough constitution\u201d to ignore the speculation at the time. \u201cWe\u2019re human beings, even though some people don\u2019t want to believe we are.
