In true Swift fashion, the album announcement came during a “New Heights” podcast teaser released at 12:12 a.m. ET on Aug. 12.<\/p>\n “This is my brand-new album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl,'” Swift said.<\/p>\n While the album is getting the hype, Swift is in a new era after the wrap of her wildly successful Eras Tour last year, there is more to come that is sure to keep Tennessee Swifities satisfied…for now.<\/p>\n Taylor Swift announces ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ alongside Travis Kelce<\/p>\n In a preview of her upcoming interview on the “New Heights” podcast, Taylor Swift reveals her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/media-video><\/div>\n We know that “The Life of a Showgirl” is coming, but the exact date of release has yet to be announced.<\/p>\n People can pre-order the album now, though, at taylorswift.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n Swift’s longtime beau, Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason, will welcome the mega star to their podcast “New Heights” on Aug. 13, which plays into Swift’s love of the often-seen unlucky number<\/a>.<\/p>\n Swift has long held the belief that 13 is in fact her lucky number. The number has, indeed, followed the singer most of her life, and Swift has mentioned the significance of 13 in her life in interviews dating as far back as 2009.<\/p>\n The iconic singer’s love of symbolism might take a back seat to the interaction between her and Travis in the upcoming podcast if the promo for it is any hint.<\/p>\n The trailers for the episode dropped not only the announcement of Swift’s latest album, but also a cute moment between the celeb couple.<\/p>\n In a promo video, Swift sits next to Travis and compliments his light blue sweater, “Such a nice color on you.”<\/p>\n “Yes, I know. It’s the color of your eyes, sweetie,” Travis replies. “It’s why we match so well.”<\/p>\n Fans will soon get a whole hour of the two talking and, more importantly, some more information on Swift’s next album. Names like Sabrina Carpenter and Paola Su\u00e1rez<\/a> are being thrown out as potential collaborators.<\/p>\n One fan speculated on Carpenter’s participation due to a social post from the musician quoting back a phrase Swift said to her during The Eras Tour.<\/p>\n On Instagram, a post from Taylor Nation<\/a>, the singer’s in-house marketing team, with the caption of “Thinking about when she said ‘See you next era\u2026’ \u2764\ufe0f\u200d\ud83d\udd25,” came with a carousel of 12 photos, including Carpenter<\/a>.<\/p>\n And as any Swiftie knows, the singer loves her easter eggs.<\/p>\n\n
