Cam\u2019ron<\/a> just upped the ante in his ongoing feud with actor Omar Gooding.<\/p>\n The rapper-turned-host recently took to Instagram<\/a> to reveal that he pranked Gooding by hiring him as an actor for a fake movie.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI booked the n\u2014a to do a movie that\u2019s never coming out like three weeks ago,\u201d Cam told his followers. \u201cYeah, Omar. That movie that you flew down to Miami for? It ain\u2019t no movie coming out. I booked you. And I was laughing at you behind the scenes. I was there. I was sitting there laughing at you. And you know what? Now you\u2019re coming on Revolt tonight because you signed the paperwork. I could do whatever with the footage.\u201d<\/p>\n He then finished the video by saying he wanted to hire Gooding for a baby shower and claimed that he\u2019s going to start booking his enemies. \u201cNow do another record; I\u2019ma book you for my goddaughter\u2019s baby shower,\u201d he said. \u201cHer sh\u2013 is in October and we\u2019ll book you to do all the diss records. I\u2019ll pay you for that too because what I\u2019ma start doing is paying n\u2014as just to laugh at them. It cost me $3,500 to do everything to book you \u2014 the hotel, your flight, all that sh\u2013. It costs me $12,000 to $13,000 to go to the NBA game. I\u2019d just rather laugh at you for $3,500.\u201d<\/p>\n He added: \u201cBe careful. This is my new sh\u2013. It\u2019s called, \u2018Book My Opps.’\u201d<\/p>\n Gooding then responded<\/a> with his own video on Instagram saying that he wanted to apologize for what he was about to do to Cam in yet another diss record, saying, \u201cIt\u2019s gon\u2019 be diabolical,\u201d before also thanking the Harlem rapper for the free trip to Miami and asked him to book him again.<\/p>\n \u201cKeep booking, I\u2019ma keep spendin\u2019 it,\u201d he said before ending the clip.<\/p>\n The back and forth between Gooding and Killa dates back to a December 2024 episode of Talk With Flee<\/a><\/em> when Cam\u2019ron mistakenly confused Omar Gooding with his older brother Cuba Gooding Jr. by adding the Jr. suffix after the younger Gooding\u2019s name during a conversation with 50 Cent<\/a> about certain Black actors not having consistent work unless someone like 50 hires them.<\/p>\n \u201cNo disrespect to nobody I\u2019m talking about,\u201d Cam said to the Queens filmmaker. \u201cLike Ving Rhames, you sitting around, or Omar Gooding Jr., y\u2019all n\u2014as sitting around \u2014 I would have saved my money and shot my own sh\u2013 by now \u2014 but the Black actor has to sit around for a\u00a050 Cent\u00a0or somebody in your lane to come pick them up to put them in something.\u201d<\/p>\n Omar Gooding has released three diss records<\/a> (and counting) aimed at Cam\u2019ron.<\/p>\n Best of Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n Sign up for Billboard’s Newsletter<\/a>.
