Sharon Stone<\/a> has been rooting for her longtime friend and fellow actor Eric Dane<\/a> for some time.<\/p>\n

The actress recently told Entertainment Tonight<\/a> at the Nobody<\/a> 2 premiere that she was Dane\u2019s \u201csupport staff\u201d when he was auditioning for the hit HBO show Euphoria<\/a> years ago. Earlier this year, the actor revealed that he has been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Als).<\/p>\n

\u201cEric and I have been friends for a long time. A long time,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd I actually was like his support staff when he was trying to get the job on Euphoria<\/a>. So he would come over to my house and give me gluten-free cookies and we\u2019d sit and discuss it because he really wanted that job.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stone added that \u201cit means the world to me that he got that job in time,\u201d prior to his Als diagnosis.<\/p>\n
