Former Superman actor <\/span>Dean Cain<\/span><\/a> had a meltdown while trying to defend himself and President Donald Trump\u2019<\/a>s aggressive immigration enforcement after becoming a target for public mockery for joining ICE.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cThe idea that somebody who is not trained would join ICE and join these guys that are putting on masks and jumping out of U-Hauls at a Home Depot and nabbing people, like, it\u2019s a horrible policy. It is un-American,\u201d The Bulwark\u2019s Tim Miller<\/a> said Monday on \u201cPiers Morgan<\/a> Uncensored.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Cain has been made the butt of many jokes for his decision. Multiple people<\/span> online have pointed out the irony<\/span><\/a> that an actor who played Superman in the \u201990s TV series \u201cLois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman\u201d would be joining an agency making constitutionally questionable arrests. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Meanwhile, late-night comedians such as <\/span>John Oliver<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Bill Maher have poked fun at ICE\u2019s desperation<\/span><\/a> in hiring the former actor.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Despite the criticism, the 59-year-old Cain praised the agency. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cYou\u2019re going out and you\u2019re villainizing myself. You\u2019re going out and you\u2019re villainizing these ICE agents who are trying to uphold the law. These are wonderful men and women,\u201d Cain told Morgan. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
