Selena Gomez is so proud of her Only Murders in the Building <\/em>co-star Martin Short.<\/p>\n

Hulu’s popular TV comedy series follows Oliver Putman (Short), Mabel Mora (Gomez) and Charles Haden-Savage (Steve Martin), three strangers who share an obsession with true crime, but suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one when a death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building. So far, there are four seasons of the show, with a fifth season slated to premiere on Sept. 9.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday afternoon, the 33-year-old actress and singer shared an Instagram story of a billboard she spotted while driving through West Hollywood, featuring Short, who\u2019s nominated for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Oliver.<\/p>\n

“So happy for my Marty!!” Gomez wrote on the top of her Instagram story.<\/p>\n

Including the 75-year-old actor’s nomination, Only Murders in the Building<\/em> was nominated for other awards<\/a>, including Best Comedy Series, Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Program, Outstanding Casting For A Comedy Series, Outstanding Contemporary Makeup (Non-Prosthetic), Outstanding Stunt Coordination For Comedy Programming and Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy or Drama Series (Half-Hour) and Animation.<\/p>\n

The Canadian-American actor gained fame during his short stint on Saturday Night Live<\/em> and Second City Television<\/em> in the 1980s before starring in films like Three Amigos<\/em> and Father of the Bride<\/em>. On top of promoting Only Murders in the Building<\/em>, Short is gearing up to hit the road with Martin for the 2025 leg of their Dukes of Funnytown Tour<\/em><\/a>, running from late August through December around the United States.<\/p>\n

The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on September 14 at 5 p.m. PT, and can be watched on CBS and streamed live on Paramount+.<\/p>\n
