Rascal Flatts released Life Is a Highway: Refueled Duets<\/em> in June 2025, their first studio record since the band’s break up in 2021. The album was a nostalgic tribute to their past hits, which they re-recorded alongside nine other artists. But as for new music? It’s been a while.<\/p>\n The band kicked off their Life Is a Highway<\/em> reunion tour on February 13, 2025, and they’ve since played 30 shows with one more scheduled at the end of the month.<\/p>\n So, what’s the news?!<\/p>\n Not surprisingly, fans raced to the comments to share their best guesses as to what the mysterious message might mean.<\/p>\n “NEW SONG,” commented one hopeful fan.<\/p>\n “How to do a collab with Taylor \ud83e\udde1 jk jk,” wrote a Swiftie, who very possibly took note of the Swift-style post.<\/p>\n “Hoping for a new album been too long since we got new music from you guys,” commented another.<\/p>\n “TOUR!!” exclaimed yet another fan who simply can’t wait to find out what the band plans to announce on Wednesday.<\/p>\n Audiences were devastated when Rascal Flatts called it quits in 2021, but the band’s recent reunion has been everything fans wanted and more.<\/p>\n In a 2024 interview with Taste of Country<\/a><\/em>, Joe Don Rooney, Jay DeMarcus, and Gary LeVox, collectively known as Rascal Flatts, admitted that it was the first time that the trio had been in a room together in five years.<\/p>\n “We’ve communicated obviously through text and through emails and our management, but this is the first time.
