Or, at least that’s what former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce said about Taylor Swift’s supposed hometown.<\/p>\n
In a preview of the newest “New Heights” podcast featuring Swift as she promotes her new album alongside Travis Kelce \u2014 fellow pod host, Kansas City Chief and Swift’s boyfriend \u2014 Jason Kelce corrected a common misconception about the pop star’s hometown.<\/p>\n
During her introduction to the pod, Jason Kelce said Swift being from Nashville, Tennessee, was (exeplitive) before shouting out where she grew up.<\/p>\n
Here’s what to know about the new album and when the full podcast will air:<\/p>\n
Swift is originally from Reading, Pennsylvania \u2014 specifically the borough of West Reading \u2014 where she was raised and went to high school before moving to Nashville to pursue her music career.<\/p>\n
Swift is currently 35 years old. She was born on Dec. 13, 1989.<\/p>\n
Following a passionate 47-second introduction by Jason Kelce, Swift thanks Jason and Travis Kelce for having her “on her favorite podcast.”<\/p>\n
“As we all know, you guys have a lot of male sports fans that listen to your podcast and umm, I think we all know that if there’s one thing that male sports fans want to see in their spaces and on their screens … it’s more of me,” Swift joked in reference to complaints from fans who argue she appears too much on TV when she attends NFL games.<\/p>\n
The next “New Heights” podcast, hosted by former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce and Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, will drop Aug. 13.<\/p>\n

The title for Swift’s 12th studio album is “The Life of a Showgirl.”<\/p>\n
Swift confirmed the news on a “New Heights” podcast teaser released at 12:12 a.m. ET on Aug. 12. The singer pulled out a blurred out album cover for her new project.<\/p>\n
“This is my brand-new album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl,'” Swift says.<\/p>\n
