Rauw Alejandro<\/a>\u00a0has been named the 2025 Hispanic Heritage Award honoree for Vision \u2014 a recognition that celebrates his \u201cgroundbreaking contributions to Latin music and his role in shaping its global future,\u201d according the press release. Discussing the project, the superstar expressed his pride in representing Puerto Rico and the Caribbean through his work. \u201c\u2018Cosa Nuestra\u2019<\/em>\u00a0has always been my way of representing my island, my culture and my people \u2014 wherever they may be,\u201d he said. \u201cEvery detail \u2014 the beats, the visuals, the dancing \u2014 reflects part of our Puerto Rican roots and our connection with other sister cultures, because we\u2019ve been shaping the history of music for a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWith my next project \u2018Cap\u00edtulo 0.<\/em>\u2019\u00a0I want to keep showcasing not only Puerto Rico, but the full essence of\u00a0the\u00a0Caribbean,\u201d Rauw Alejandro continued.<\/p>\n The Vision Award follows the success of his critically acclaimed fifth studio album, Cosa Nuestra<\/em>, released in November 2024.
