Now, Aniston is getting real about how she felt about the timing of the offer for that role, which ironically came shortly after her &#8220;little separation\u201d from Brad Pitt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The year that Jennifer Aniston landed the role of a soon-to-be ex in <em>The Break-Up, she<\/em> was going through the same thing in real life. She and then-husband Brad Pitt announced their separation in 2005 amidst infidelity rumors about Pitt allegedly <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cinemablend.com\/movies\/times-co-stars-in-a-movie-started-dating-in-real-life\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:dating his Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">dating his <em>Mr. and Mrs. Smith <\/em>co-star<\/a> Angelina Jolie. And, simultaneously, both can find their own happy endings.
