Pamela Anderson<\/strong><\/a> opened up about her connection to boyfriend and Naked Gun<\/em> costar Liam Neeson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s such a sweetheart,\u201d the former Baywatch<\/em> star, 58, revealed in an Esquire<\/em><\/a> interview published on Wednesday, August 13. \u201cHe\u2019s so giving and generous and was so complimentary and supportive that, you know, you can\u2019t help but fall in love with Liam.\u201d<\/p>\n

Anderson admitted that she was initially intimidated to work with Neeson, 73, on The Naked Gun<\/em> because of his long list of career achievements. (Neeson received a Best Actor Oscar nomination for Schindler\u2019s List<\/em> and has also been nominated for three Golden Globes and two Tony Awards.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m familiar with Liam\u2019s career,\u201d she noted. \u201cHe\u2019s had such an incredible career, starting in theater and being part of this acting royalty, you know, from Schindler\u2019s List<\/em> and all the other films he\u2019s done. So it was intimidating. I was afraid to meet him. I was literally shaking the first day I came to rehearse our first scene. But once we got going, I mean, he\u2019s such a gentleman.\u201d<\/p>\n

For his part, Neeson compared Anderson to the \u201cvery beautiful, sexy and funny\u201d femme fatale character that she played in The Naked Gun<\/em>, which hit theaters earlier this month.<\/p>\n

\u201cPamela is all that and more,\u201d he beamed. \u201cAny scene with Pamela Anderson was terrific, and I always looked forward to working with her. I think we got on well. She\u2019s certainly become a new pal. She\u2019s terrific to work with. No big ego, no airs, graces. We had a few laughs on set, yeah. [Her character] Beth and myself, we try to solve the big crime in the film together. We\u2019re butting heads occasionally but that\u2019s part of the fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

A source exclusively revealed<\/a> to Us Weekly<\/em> earlier this month that Anderson and Neeson developed a friendship while shooting The Naked Gun<\/em> before realizing their connection went deeper.<\/p>\n

\u201cPamela and Liam are dating,\u201d the insider told Us<\/em>. \u201cThey had chemistry while they were filming, and their friendship naturally developed into something more.\u201d<\/p>\n
