When Kid Cudi<\/a> took the stand to testify against Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs<\/a> in May, he did so against his will \u2014 but the musician is ultimately happy that he was able to support his ex-girlfriend Cassie<\/a>.<\/p>\nCudi (n\u00e9 Scott Mescudi) opened up about his experience speaking at Combs\u2019s trial<\/a> in an episode of the Call Her Daddy<\/a> podcast on Wednesday, Aug. 13, and said he \u201chated every minute of it.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cI was there because I had to be. At first they asked, I said no. They asked again, I said no. Then I got subpoenaed and I was like, \u2018F—. S\u2013–. No,\u2019\u201d he recalled.<\/p>\n

When I saw that she was having kids, I was like, \u2018Oh, this is so awesome.\u2019 I\u2019ve always just wanted to see her thrive and do well and be happy, \u2018cause I know she was living a nightmare.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ventura married Alex Fine<\/a> in 2019, and they\u2019re parents to daughters Frankie, 5, and Sunny, 4, as well as a son born in May<\/a>.<\/p>\n\u201cI was just there to support her. Combs was convicted in July<\/a> on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, but was acquitted on more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering following a lengthy trial.
