Bama Rush has continued to capture national attention thanks to #RushTok and the college girls\u2019 influx of outfit content.<\/p>\n
The week-long Greek Life tradition takes place at the University of Alabama, with potential new members<\/a> (PNMs) hoping to find a group of new \u201csisters.\u201d In recent years, the college-aged girls have taken TikTok followers along for the ride, showing off their outfits in viral Get Ready With Me (GRWM) videos.<\/p>\n The process was explored in Max\u2019s 2023 documentary Bama Rush<\/em>, which detailed the history behind the university\u2019s tradition.<\/p>\n \u201cI really wanted to explore sorority life because I felt like it was going to be a lightning rod to talk about all of these other things that young women face, like body image and sexual assault and racism, classism,\u201d Rachel Fleit<\/strong> told NPR of her motivation for the project at the time.
