\u2018Tis the season when Bama Rush and #RushTok takes the internet by storm \u2014 and there\u2019s a whole new crop of girls to meet.<\/p>\n

The social media phenomenon follows aspiring sorority girls<\/a> hoping to find a group of new \u201csisters\u201d by joining Greek Life at their college campus. While vying for a coveted spot in a sorority, the potential new members (PNMs) have vlogged the experience via TikTok and showcased their outfits in viral videos.<\/p>\n

Kylan Darnell<\/strong> \u2014 whose sister Izzy Darnell<\/strong> is currently going through recruitment \u2014 became the face of #RushTok<\/a> in 2022, eventually joining the University of Alabama\u2019s Zeta Tau Alpha. While on the other side of the process in 2025, Kylan shared that she decided to remove herself from participating in recruitment.<\/p>\n

\u201cI decided to take a step back because there\u2019s just a lot of online stuff between me and my sister, and it was hard for me,\u201d Kylan told People<\/em><\/a>, noting that the conversation online<\/a> has added pressure to her personal life.<\/p>\n

Leah Herrick<\/h2>\n

Leah explained in a TikTok<\/a> video that participating in rush at the University of Alabama has been \u201cone of [her] biggest dreams\u201d and that she hopes to \u201cinspire others\u201d through her page, which boasts more than 7,000 followers.<\/p>\n

Tenisha Castle<\/h2>\n

Tenisha, who has amassed more than 32,000 followers, opens all of her videos by greeting her followers, \u201cHey y\u2019all, I hope you guys are having the best day.\u201d She has taken her followers along for the ride, sharing videos of her daily outfits.<\/p>\n
