As Swifties impatiently wait for Taylor Swift<\/strong> to share more information about The Life of a Showgirl<\/em>, her boyfriend Travis Kelce<\/strong>‘s father, Ed Kelce<\/strong>, made a prediction about her twelfth studio album.<\/p>\n

Just one day after Swift, 35, announced the new album in a sneak peek for her debut appearance on Travis, 35, and his brother Jason Kelce<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast, Ed, 74, shared his reaction<\/a> to the big news while speaking to Australia\u2019s Today<\/a><\/em> on Wednesday, August 13.<\/p>\n

“I knew nothing about this announcement,\u201d he admitted during his appearance, which aired just hours before Swift’s \u201cNew Heights\u201d episode<\/a> is scheduled to drop. \u201cI knew at some point the boys wanted to get her on the podcast, but I didn\u2019t know when it was coming up.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, he did point out that Swift has been busy ever since she wrapped her Eras tour<\/a> in December 2024. \u201cI know Taylor\u2019s been working pretty hard since she stopped the tour,\u201d Ed said. \u201cShe\u2019s taken some breaks to watch some football games<\/a>, but she\u2019s been out in L.A. working on this album.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ed concluded the topic by sharing his predictions<\/a> for the new album. \u201cMy guess is that, although I haven\u2019t heard anything, it\u2019s going to be like everything else she does,” he said. “It\u2019s going to be beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n

While not much is known about Swift’s next album, she did reveal that it’s coming out soon in a teaser clip for her “New Heights” episode<\/a> that was released in the early hours of Tuesday, August 12.<\/p>\n

“Can I show you something?” Swift asked in the teaser clip as Jason, 37, responded, “Okay. What do we got? We got a briefcase? Mint green, with T.S. on it.”<\/p>\n

After Jason asked Swift what was inside of the briefcase, she revealed that she is releasing a “brand new album” called The Life of a Showgirl<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

While Jason screamed with excitement, Travis happily declared<\/a>, “TS 12!”<\/p>\n
