Billy Bob Thornton\u2019s Landman<\/em> has lassoed a Season 2 premiere date.<\/p>\n Paramount+ on Wednesday announced that the Taylor Sheridan saga\u2019s sophomore run will kick off Sunday, Nov. 16 \u2014 just 11 months after its Season 1 finale was released on the service.<\/p>\n More from TVLine<\/strong><\/p>\n The Texas-set drama follows Tommy Norris (Thornton) in the cutthroat world of oilfields in Texas, where \u201croughnecks and wildcat billionaires are fueling a boom so big it\u2019s reshaping our climate, our economy, and our\u00a0geopolitics,\u201d per the official logline. The Season 1 finale found Tommy assuming leadership of the oil company he works for after the unexpected death of his boss, CEO Monty Miller (played by Jon Hamm). What\u2019s more, Monty\u2019s widow Cami (Demi Moore) charged Tommy with closing a high-risk\/high-reward deal.<\/p>\n The Landman<\/em> Season 2 cast consists of Thornton, Moore, Andy Garcia, Sam Elliott, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Ch\u00e1vez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan and Colm Feore.<\/p>\n Paramount+ has not yet released a trailer, but TVLine will update this page once footage is released.
