Two months before the third annual Bellingham Exit, organizers have announced that the 2025 edition (kicking off Oct. 8\u201312) will be the festival\u2019s last. The news was delivered via Instagram on Wednesday, Aug. 13.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn short, the landscape for live events continues to change and festivals today face great cultural and financial challenges,\u201d the Instagram post<\/a> reads. \u201cBut we believe that Bellingham deserves a last dinner party to remember as we bring new, venue transforming art installations to life \u2014 bigger and more carb-rich than ever!\u201d<\/p>\n Bellingham Exit Festival debuted with great success<\/a> in 2023, drawing in 52 unique acts including nationally-recognized performers like The Pharcyde, Marc Maron, The HU and drag queen Monet X Change, as well as local performers. It sold 7,800 tickets and accrued $10,451 in net ordinary income<\/a> \u2014 an impressive feat for a first-year festival.\u00a0<\/p>\n The subsequent edition brought in more than 60 unique acts<\/a> including Reggie Watts, Joseph and Laura Ramoso.
