Between 2004 and 2013, Jillian Michaels<\/a> and Bob Harper<\/a> worked together on 12 seasons of\u00a0The Biggest Loser<\/em><\/a>. However, they drifted apart after their time on the show ended, and Harper revealed in a new interview with The Guardian<\/a> that his former costar didn\u2019t even reach out to him when he had a heart attack that nearly killed him in 2017.<\/p>\n \u201cWe weren\u2019t besties, but we were partners on a television show for a very long time,\u201d he pointed out, adding that it \u201cspoke volumes\u201d when Michaels didn\u2019t get in touch. \u201cI would not expect Jillian Michaels to do anything other than what she wants to do,\u201d the trainer admitted.<\/p>\n Harper will speak about his time on\u00a0The Biggest Loser<\/em> in Netflix\u2019s new docuseries\u00a0Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser<\/a><\/em>. However, Michaels is not featured in the three-part series.<\/p>\n The Traitors<\/a><\/em> contestant confirmed to Us Weekly<\/a> in 2020 that he and Michaels were no longer in touch and said they hadn\u2019t been in quite some time. After Michaels\u2019 exit from The Biggest Loser<\/em>\u00a0following Season 15, Harper stayed on as a trainer for one more season, then transitioned to host for Seasons 17 and 18.<\/p>\n While Michaels never reached out to Harper about his heart attack directly, she did publicly share her feelings about the situation during a 2020 interview on E!\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0Daily Pop<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>Michaels was not very sympathetic in her response and blamed Harper\u2019s combination of a Paleo diet and intense workouts, along with his family history, for his health issues.<\/p>\n \u201cKnowing a little bit about Bob, I know that he does have a family history of it. I was there when he lost his mother to a heart attack, with him the night that she died. So there is a family history,\u201d she pointed out. \u201cI do also think that, you know, you\u2019re in the middle of a CrossFit workout and you\u2019re eating [a] Paleo [diet], it\u2019s not going to help. Personally, I\u2019m not pro-Paleo. Everyone can just go crazy on me.\u201d<\/p>\n
