As part of the celebration, the Palace had shared a post featuring 75 Facts About Princess Anne. Well, one of those facts appeared to be a mistake. In the now-deleted post, fact number 14 read: “Her Royal Highness also has two stepchildren from her second marriage to Sir Timothy Laurence, Tom and Amy Laurence.”<\/p>\n

Cue the confusion. Social media quickly lit up with puzzled reactions<\/a>. \u201c#14 Tom and Amy Laurence? Either I\u2019ve gone crazy or Sir Tim has secret children,\u201d one user wrote. \u201cPretty sure this is an error, but how did that happen?\u201d<\/p>\n

Another chimed in, \u201cAm I going a bit mad? Princess Anne has two stepchildren? That\u2019s news to me.\u201d While a third summed up what I’m sure a lot of people were thinking, writing, \u201cHave never heard that! If so, they\u2019ve certainly been kept under wraps!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
