August is kind of a big deal for Princess Anne<\/a>. Sure, she\u2019s always busy as one of the most hardworking<\/a> members of the royal family (seriously, no one clocks in more royal engagements<\/a> than her) but that\u2019s not what I’m talking about. This month marks a major milestone<\/a>\u2014Princess Anne is turning 75.<\/p>\n

To celebrate the occasion, Buckingham Palace has been sharing throwback photos<\/a>, heartfelt tributes and even a few fun facts about the Princess Royal. But this week, eagle-eyed royal watchers noticed something\u2026 interesting: one of those birthday posts was quietly deleted.<\/p>\n

As part of the celebration, the Palace had shared a post featuring 75 Facts About Princess Anne. Well, one of those facts appeared to be a mistake. In the now-deleted post, fact number 14 read: “Her Royal Highness also has two stepchildren from her second marriage to Sir Timothy Laurence, Tom and Amy Laurence.”<\/p>\n

Cue the confusion. Social media quickly lit up with puzzled reactions<\/a>. \u201c#14 Tom and Amy Laurence? Either I\u2019ve gone crazy or Sir Tim has secret children,\u201d one user wrote. \u201cPretty sure this is an error, but how did that happen?\u201d<\/p>\n

Another chimed in, \u201cAm I going a bit mad? Princess Anne has two stepchildren? That\u2019s news to me.\u201d While a third summed up what I’m sure a lot of people were thinking, writing, \u201cHave never heard that! If so, they\u2019ve certainly been kept under wraps!\u201d<\/p>\n

As of now, Buckingham Palace hasn\u2019t issued any official comment about the error but the original “75 facts” post has been removed. The rest of the birthday content is still up, including a regal carousel post featuring Princess Anne and King Charles in full royal attire and a striking solo portrait of Anne in a chic all-cream ensemble.<\/p>\n

So, was it just a royal slip-up or something more? For now, your guess is as good as mine but the internet definitely noticed.<\/p>\n
