In the game of love, Ciara<\/span><\/a><\/strong> and Russell Wilson<\/span><\/a><\/strong> are always happy to lend an assist.<\/p>\n

Before NFL player DK Metcalf<\/strong> and Normani<\/span><\/a><\/strong> got engaged<\/span><\/a>, the pair were set up by the \u201cI Bet\u201d singer and her husband.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst off, I have to shout both of them out. We love them so dearly,\u201d Ciara, 39, shared on the Thursday, August 14, episode of the \u201cNot Gonna Lie<\/span><\/a>\u201d podcast. \u201cObviously, Russ and DK are like brothers, and DK is like my brother too. Our kids love them. He\u2019s Uncle DK in our house, and Normani is obviously like a sister to me. I think that when you see an opportunity for someone to experience love, especially in the way that you know it to be, why not?\u201d<\/p>\n

Ciara and Wilson, 36, have been married since July 2016 and share three children: Sienna, 8, Win, 5, and Amora, 20 months. Ciara also welcomed son Future Jr. with ex Future<\/strong> in 2014.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tNFL wide receiver DK Metcalf was all-in on Normani before they even met. \u201cMe and Ciara are really close, and Russell [Wilson, her husband] and DK were teammates on the Seattle Seahawks,\u201d Normani, 28, recalled to Vogue in an interview published on Friday, March 14. \u201cAbout two years prior to us even meeting, they were [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Although she doesn\u2019t want to kiss and tell about Metcalf, 27, and Normani\u2019s first interactions, their initial connection appeared to be a total touchdown.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was love at a game of cards for those two, but I\u2019ll let them tell their story,\u201d she told host Kylie Kelce<\/strong>. \u201cBut let\u2019s just say Russ and I were definitely like, \u2018We need to make sure that these two get together and we\u2019ll let them take it away.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a beautiful thing when it happens like that,\u201d Ciara added. \u201cWe love seeing people experience love. It\u2019s really a fun thing for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

In March, Metcalf confirmed he was engaged<\/span><\/a> to Normani, 29, during his first press conference for the Pittsburgh Steelers.<\/p>\n

\u201cI proposed to my fianc\u00e9e and Russell was the one who connected us,\u201d the wide receiver told reporters<\/span><\/a>\u00a0when asked if Wilson had given him advice about relocating to Pittsburgh. \u201cSo he was just telling me congratulations, giving us congratulations on that.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a TikTok<\/span><\/a> post, Ciara shared a memory from the moment Metcalf and Normani told her that they were engaged.<\/p>\n
