Kelly Clarkson<\/strong> is seemingly taking time to grieve following the death of her ex-husband<\/a>, Brandon Blackstock.<\/strong><\/p>\n While production is currently underway for season 29 of The Voice<\/em>, a source recently told The Sun<\/a><\/em> that the singer-songwriter, 43, is taking a step back.<\/p>\n \u201cKelly will not be at the tapings scheduled next week for Thursday and Friday,\u201d the source told the outlet in an article published Thursday, August 14. \u201cProduction is working on a replacement coach for her now.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cKelsea Ballerini<\/strong> and Miley Cyrus<\/strong> have been considered to fill in, but right now, it\u2019s all still a work in progress,\u201d the source added.<\/p>\n Besides the \u201cPiece by Piece\u201d vocalist, the judging panel for season 29 of The Voice: Battle of Champions<\/em> will see the return of John Legend<\/strong> and Adam Levine<\/strong>. The series is set to air in the spring of 2026.<\/p>\n As Star<\/em> reported last week,<\/a> Clarkson\u2019s daytime talk show will be back for the seventh season this fall, with new episodes debuting in September, according to TMZ<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n The news came after the three-time Grammy Award winner postponed the August shows of her Las Vegas residency the day before the former talent manager \u2014 with whom she shares kids River<\/strong>, 11, and Remington<\/strong>, 9 \u2014 passed away.<\/p>\n \u201cWhile I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children\u2019s father has been ill.
