Halle Berry<\/strong><\/a> spent her birthday trolling ex-husband David Justice<\/strong>\u2019s recent comments about why their relationship didn\u2019t work out.<\/p>\n

\u201cPhew\u2026! cooking, cleaning and mothering,\u201d the actress, 59, wrote via Instagram<\/a> alongside a series of snaps while celebrating her birthday in a tropical destination on Thursday, August 14.<\/p>\n

The first photo of the slideshow featured Berry smiling brightly as she posed in front of the ocean. Berry rocked a yellow bikini plus a blue and white bandana. An additional pic showed off Berry and boyfriend Van Hunt<\/strong><\/a> relaxing in a cabana and snacking on some chips. Berry also included multiple shots of her taking in the tropical paradise, including one of her holding a glass of wine between her toes as she lay out to overlook the ocean.<\/p>\n

Berry also gave a glimpse of her birthday celebration, including a slice of chocolate cake with a candle on it. She also received a card seemingly from her kids, Nahla, 17, and Maceo, 11, as it was addressed to \u201cMom\u201d on the envelope. (The Oscar winner shares Nahla with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry<\/strong>, and Maceo with ex-husband Olivier Martinez<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

My knowledge and my understanding, my wisdom around relationships just wasn\u2019t vast,\u201d the former baseball player, 59, said while appearing on the \u201cAll the Smoke\u201d podcast in August. \u201cSo, I\u2019m looking at my mom and I\u2019m a Midwest guy. So, in my mind, I\u2019m thinking a wife at that time should cook, clean.\u201d<\/p>\n
