Published by Penguin Random House<\/a> in 2021, the book is a psychological thriller centered on Sophie O\u2019Neill, a former journalist who moves back to her wealthy Texas hometown with her family after a series of personal setbacks, becoming captivated by a group of women known for their upscale lifestyle, social gatherings, and their obsession with hunting.<\/p>\n
