RLJE Films and Shudder have acquired the rights to the horror thriller directed by Ryan Prows with a plan to release the movie theatrically in 2026.<\/p>\n

The festival\u2019s line-up<\/a> was unveiled Thursday.<\/p>\n \u201cNight Patrol is an audacious, high-stakes horror-thriller with a powerhouse ensemble cast and heart-pounding tension,\u201d said RJLE chief acquisitions officer Mark Ward in a statement. \u201cBlending community grit, suspense and unflinching intensity led by Ryan Prows, this acquisition marks a dream-realized moment for us going into its world premiere.\u201d<\/p>\n Co-written by Prows and Shaye Ogbonna (The Penguin), along with Tim Cairo and Jake Gibson, the story centers on an LAPD officer who must put aside his differences with the area\u2019s street gangs when he discovers a local police task force is harboring a horrific secret that endangers the residents of the housing projects he grew up in.<\/p>\n Jermaine Fowler leads a cast that includes Justin Long (Barbarian), RJ Cyler (The Harder They Fall), Freddie Gibbs (Down with the King), CM Punk (Girls on the Third Floor), YG (White Boy Rick), Flying Lotus (Ash), Dermot Mulroney (Scream IV), Jon Oswald (Lowlife) and Nicki Micheaux (The Shield).<\/p>\n \u201cI am thrilled that we\u2019re partnering with RLJE and Shudder to bring Night Patrol to theaters. Goyer and Keith Levine for Phantom Four, James Harris for Tea Shop Films, and Josh Goldbloom<\/p>\n Exec producers includes XYZ and Matthew Helderman, Luke Taylor and Grady Craig for Bondit, and Mark Lane for Tea Shop Films.
