\n\tA new civilian-led version of the reality competition series \u201cThe Traitors<\/a>\u201d is heading to NBC with Alan Cumming as the host.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe announcement was made by Cumming at the inaugural Televerse 2025 conference during \u201cThe Traitors: Reality Competition Program Nominee FYC Panel\u201d at the JW Marriott Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. The panel featured past \u201cTraitors\u201d competitors Bob The Drag Queen, Rob Mariano, Cirie Fields, Kate Chastain and Phaedra Parks.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe money will mean more to them,\u201d Cumming said during the panel, revealing this will be shot in the spring. \u201cI\u2019m pretty excited about it. I think it\u2019s going to be a hoot.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re excited to bring along \u2018The Traitors\u2019 highly addictive fan base as we discover the next generation of legendary gamers and schemers,\u201d said Sharon Vuong, executive vice president of unscripted programming, NBCUniversal Entertainment. \u201cWith our resident host and gameplay master of ceremonies, Alan Cumming, on board to introduce complete strangers to new epic missions and twisted gameplay, this new version for NBC offers a unique opportunity for the cast and audience to meet each other for the first time and we know it will be incredible to watch.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe third season of \u201cThe Traitors\u201d<\/a> launched Jan. 9 on Peacock with TV reality stars, including Bob the Drag Queen from \u201cRuPaul\u2019s Drag Race\u201d; Dorinda Medley, Robyn Dixon, Dolores Catania and Chanel Ayan from the \u201cReal Housewives\u201d universe; Ciara Miller from \u201cSummer House\u201d; Zac Efron\u2019s brother Dylan; Chrishell Stause from \u201cSelling Sunset;\u201d dancer Sam Asghari; Gabby Windey and Wells Adams from \u201cThe Bachelor\u201d franchise; Britney Haynes and Danielle Reyes from \u201cBig Brother\u201d; \u201cVanderpump Rules\u201d star Tom Sandoval; and \u201cSurvivor\u201d stars Carolyn Wiger, Jeremy Collins, Rob Mariano and Tony Vlachos.<\/p>\n

\n\tStephen Lambert, CEO of Studio Lambert, the producers of both the Peacock and NBC versions, described the show\u2019s format as \u201cone of the most gripping and talked-about reality competition shows in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe added, \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to be working with NBC to open up the experience to a new group of civilian players, whose stories and strategies will make the gameplay even more unpredictable \u2013 and, we hope, even more addictive for viewers.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe fourth season of \u201cThe Traitors\u201d <\/em><\/a>premieres in 2026 on Peacock and will house members from former cast members from \u201cRuPaul\u2019s Drag Race,\u201d \u201cThe Real Housewives\u201d franchise, \u201cBig Brother,\u201d \u201cSurvivor,\u201d and \u201cDancing With the Stars.\u201d\u00a0 Athletes and actors will also join the new season, including\u00a0 Ron Funches, Michael Rapaport, Stephen Colletti, Johnny Weir, Tara Lipinski and returning competitor Dorinda Medley. As previously announced, Peacock\u2019s Emmy-winning reality series has been renewed for a fifth season.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
