Speaking to Collider in a recent interview, Marvel Zombies<\/a> showrunner Bryan Andrews revealed that, prior to the series being turned into a four-part series, it was originally conceived as a movie. Andrews said that the cinematic feeling of the series still runs through the series, with the showrunner saying it feels more like a four-episode mini-event.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, no. It\u2019s like a through line. It\u2019s like, originally, we were thinking it\u2019d be a movie, if like, \u2018Ooh, we should release it as a movie.\u2019 We should just do a movie,\u201d said Andrews. \u201cBut there were some things that came up, certain issues that we just had to kind of, \u2018Oh let\u2019s break it. We\u2019ll have to break it up into four episodes.\u2019 So basically it\u2019s like a four-episode mini-event, like a film broke up into four parts, basically. So yeah, it\u2019s definitely\u2026 It\u2019s one story. It\u2019s one throughline. A lot of insanity happens.\u201d<\/p>\n
