In an interview with Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>\u2019s Jeff Ihaza, Lacy called his new song \u201ca \u2018trailer\u2019 for this new moment in his career.\u201d Elsewhere in the interview, he discussed a forthcoming new album called Oh Yeah?<\/em> \u201cThis one has taken a lot of time and thought,\u201d he told Ihaza of the self-produced project. \u201cI keep using the word \u2018design.\u2019 It feels like fully designing a new language for myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lacy won a Grammy Award<\/a> for Best Progressive R&B Album<\/a> for his sophomore album, Gemini Rights<\/em><\/a>. The 2022 full-length housed the biggest song of Lacy\u2019s career to date, \u201cBad Habit<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
