\n\tComedian, actor and director Bill Burr<\/a> has inked a first look deal with Fox Entertainment<\/a> Studios.<\/p>\n

\n\tBurr and his North Hill Productions will bring original scripted and unscripted comedic content to Fox\u2019s studio and production arm. Under the strategic partnership, announced on Wednesday, Burr and longtime business partner Mike Bertolina will executive produce and generate scripted and unscripted TV content, with Fox Entertainment at the head of the line for a first look.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBill Burr is one of the boldest, most original voices in comedy and teaming up with him and Mike Bertolina at North Hill is exactly the kind of move that defines our studio,\u201d Hannah Pillemer, head of scripted for\u00a0Fox Entertainment Studios, said in a statement on Wednesday. The latest first look deal for Fox Entertainment, which follows on an earlier multi-year deal with Jamie Foxx <\/a>and his Foxxhole Productions, aims to get the TV studio deeper into comedy.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFox has always been home for comedy that swings big, and at FES, we\u2019re doubling down, championing creators with strong points of view who don\u2019t play it safe. When our logo hits the screen, whatever the platform, we want audiences to instinctively think: daring, fresh and undeniably Fox,\u201d Pillemer added.<\/p>\n

\n\tBurr and producing partner Bertolina at North Hill Productions had as a first project the 2025 one-hour Hulu<\/a> stand-up special,\u00a0Bill Burr: Drop Dead Years,<\/em>\u00a0which is nominated for two Emmy Awards. North Hill is developing a half-hour comedy for Fox based on the life of the comedian and has a development slate covering feature films, scripted and unscripted formats, animation\u00a0and documentaries.<\/p>\n

\n\tBurr and Bertolina earlier ran All Things Comedy, the production company co-founded by Burr and with Bertolina leading as president and CEO.\u00a0The duo produced the feature films,\u00a0Old Dads<\/em>, written and directed by Burr; Drugstore June<\/em>, starring Esther Povitsky; the feature documentary\u00a0Patrice O\u2019Neal: Killing is Easy<\/em>; and stand-up specials for Netflix, Amazon, Hulu\u00a0and Comedy Central.<\/p>\n
