Taylor Swift has unveiled the track list for her upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl<\/a> – and fans are already convinced one song might be aimed at former close friend Blake Lively.<\/p>\n The 35-year-old megastar revealed the cover art and full track list for her highly anticipated record on August 13, ahead of its October 3 release.<\/a><\/p>\n But it was one title in particular – Ruin the Friendship, the sixth track – that had led to speculation from Swifties.<\/a><\/p>\n Rumors of tension between Swift and Lively have been quietly swirling for months, ever since Lively, 37, filed a bombshell lawsuit against It Ends with Us director and co-star Justin Baldoni last December.<\/a><\/p>\n The lawsuit accuses Baldoni, producer Jamey Heath, their company Wayfarer Studios and co-founder Steve Sarowitz of sexual harassment and launching a \u201cretaliatory smear campaign\u201d – allegations all parties deny.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Swift\u2019s name entered the courtroom chaos in January, when Baldoni\u2019s legal team claimed the singer had pressured him to accept Lively\u2019s script rewrites during production. Though that complaint was later dismissed, it pulled the pop star into the messy legal crossfire.<\/p>\n The drama escalated after Baldoni\u2019s team moved to subpoena Swift – a request that was later withdrawn. Still, according to court filings, his legal team continued to allegedly \u201cdemand\u201d access to Swift\u2019s communications with Lively.<\/p>\n In June, People reported that Baldoni had not obtained those messages – but that didn\u2019t stop the court from intervening.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Most recently, Judge Lewis J. Liman denied a motion from Lively seeking to block Baldoni\u2019s team from accessing her conversations with Swift, paving the way for more scrutiny.<\/p>\n Now, with The Life of a Showgirl on the horizon, fans are convinced Swift is speaking – or singing – her truth. A fan wrote, “Who else thinks Ruin The Friendship and CANCELLED! are about Blake Lively, Taylor Swift<\/a>…please…”<\/p>\n Brazilian TV host Didi Effe shared the same hunch, posting, “I am CER-TAIN that Ruin The Friendship on Taylor Swift<\/a>‘s new album is about Blake Lively.”<\/p>\n Even longtime media personality Billy Bush weighed in during the August 13 episode of his Hot Mics podcast, saying, “Now that is an interesting question – I think so. I do think that she will shade Blake Lively on her album. Why? Because Blake Lively is, after all, an ex. And she likes to talk about her exes. She’s an ex. She’s an ex bestie. Her greatest regret has nothing to do with Justin Baldoni, ruining his career, giving him anxiety for life. That’s not her regret. Her regret is falling out with Taylor Swift<\/a>.
