Lainey Wilson will make her New Zealand debut in 2026 as her Whirlwind World Tour heads Down Under in February. The eight-show run kicks off with shows in Auckland and Christchurch before heading to Australia for two shows in Brisbane, and performances in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth.<\/p>\n
Last in Australia in 2024, Wilson blew fans away in her debut visit, with a headlining performance to remember at CMC Rocks QLD, along with two show-stopping, sold-out nights in both Sydney and Melbourne.<\/p>\n
Flatland Cavalry and Kaitlin Butts will support the trek presented by Chugg Entertainment and Frontier Touring.<\/p>\n

In June, the country star released her Apple Music Sessions EP<\/em><\/a>, which was recorded in London and features covers of The Beatles\u2019 \u201cCome Together\u201d and Lewis Capaldi\u2019s \u201cSomeone You Loved,\u201d as well as a reimagined version of her song \u201cDevil Don\u2019t Go There.\u201d<\/p>\n The release adds to yet another triumphant year for Wilson, who continues to receive overwhelming attention with her acclaimed new single, \u201cSomewhere Over Laredo<\/a>,\u201d which earned Wilson her biggest first day of streaming to date with 1.16 million.\u00a0 The song is from the deluxe version of Wilson\u2019s album, Whirlwind<\/em>, which is set for release August 22nd via BBR Music Group\/BMG Nashville.<\/p>\n In the past year, Wilson also won four awards at the 60th Annual ACM Awards, including her second consecutive Entertainer of the Year, third consecutive Female Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for Whirlwind,<\/em> and Artist-Songwriter of the Year; was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry; won Best Country Album at the 2024 Grammy Awards; and two awards at the 58th CMA Awards, where she also made her hosting debut alongside Peyton Manning and Luke Bryan.
