Brooke Hogan<\/strong> <\/a>shut down speculation about her bereavement following the death of her father, Hulk Hogan<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, I love being in the spotlight crying about my deceased dad in a super low-key location,\u201d Brooke, 37, sarcastically wrote via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, August 14, after photos were recently taken of her crying. \u201cDisrespectfully, \ud83d\udd95<\/span>OFF.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cI can\u2019t go within my own neighborhood to watch a sunset and think of my dad? You people are SICK. I wish you the karma you deserve.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us Weekly <\/i>confirmed in July that Hulk died at the age of 71<\/a> after suffering cardiac arrest. His cause of death was ruled as an acute myocardial infarction<\/a>, which is commonly known as a heart attack.<\/p>\n

The wrestling legend is survived by<\/a> his wife, Sky Daily<\/strong>, as well as his two children and two grandkids. Hulk shared Brooke and her brother, Nick Hogan<\/strong>, with ex-wife Linda Hogan<\/strong>. Both Linda, 65, and Nick, 35, attended Hulk\u2019s funeral earlier this month, while Brooke, who shares twins Oliver and Molly with husband Steven Oleksy<\/strong>, opted against attending the service.<\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t want one,\u201d Brooke wrote via Instagram on August 5, defending her decision<\/a> to skip the memorial. \u201cAlthough I know people grieve in many ways \u2014 and I\u2019m so grateful for all celebrations and events organized to honor him, as his daughter, I had to make my own decision to honor him the best and most genuine way I knew how \u2026 privately. Daddy, we honored you in the simplest way that agreed with my soul. We took our babies to the beach, and put them in the same salty waters you loved.\u201d<\/p>\n
