Reigning CMA new artist of the year Megan Moroney<\/a> and songwriting icon Diane Warren<\/a> will take the stage in Nashville when FEMco<\/a> launches its first interview-based series, starting Sept. 2 at Anzie Blue<\/a> with \u201cNashville Welcomes Diane Warren: In Conversation with Megan Moroney.\u201d<\/p>\n FEMco\u2019s Leslie Fram will moderate the discussion, with the event marking the first time Warren and Moroney have appeared together on the same stage.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cNashville Welcomes Diane Warren: In Conversation with Megan Moroney\u201d will begin at 6 p.m. on Sept. 2, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting local animal rescue organizations through Miranda Lambert\u2019s MuttNation<\/a>. She was named new artist of the year at the CMA Awards and earned the rulebreaker award <\/a>at Billboard\u2019s Women in Music. Her latest release, \u201c6 Months Later,\u201d rose into the top 10 on the Hot Country Songs chart.<\/p>\n Warren was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2001, and is known for writing enduring hits including \u201cUn-break My Heart,\u201d \u201cBecause You Loved Me,\u201d and \u201cIf I Could Turn Back Time.\u201d With 16 Academy Awards nominations, a Grammy win and 15 Grammy nominations, Warren has had her songs featured in more than 150 films. She has written for artists including Beyonc\u00e9, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Jennifer Hudson and more. Warren is the sole owner of her publishing company Realsongs.<\/p>\n Fram, a former CMT senior vice president, launched FEMco<\/a> (Fram Entertainment and Music) earlier this year, with the mission of continuing Fram\u2019s work in elevating artists\u2019 voices. The consulting collective focuses on career development, talent services and connection in Nashville\u2019s entertainment industry, while creating opportunities for female artists to expand their visibility and impact. The company recently launched a FEMcountry series of singer-songwriter showcases to highlight women country artists.
