Maroon 5<\/a> has teamed up with Lil Wayne<\/a> for their latest single, \u201cLove Is Like.\u201d The song comes off the band\u2019s new LP of the same name, which drops today.<\/p>\n The group shared a music video for the track directed by Aerin Moreno and set on the streets of New York City on a sunny day. Lil Wayne offers a verse mid-way through the song, performing from inside a smoke-filled limo. To no one\u2019s surprise, frontman Adam Levine manages to be shirtless for at least half of the clip.<\/p>\n Love Is Like<\/em> marks Maroon 5\u2019s eighth album. The LP features several previously-released tracks, including\u00a0\u201cPriceless,\u201d\u00a0<\/a>their collaboration with Blackpink\u2019s Lisa, and single \u201cAll Night.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like we\u2019ve gone back to what we used to do, which is to not pay attention to where we fit and producing the music organically,\u201d Adam Levine shared in a statement. \u201cThis is kind of how we stuck out in the beginning when we first started our career.\u201d<\/p>\n During a recent appearance on\u00a0The Tonight Show<\/a><\/em>, Levine reflected on how the band\u2019s writing style has changed at different points in their career. \u201cI\u2019ve kind of gone back to writing and shutting everybody out. But Benny [Blanco] was the first guy that got me to kind of think outside of the band,\u201d he said. Levine and Blanco previously collaborated on songs like \u201cMoves Like Jagger,\u201d \u201cStereo Hearts,\u201d \u201cPayphone,\u201d and more hits. \u201cHe kind of convinced me to write music away from the band. Because I had only kept it in the band before, so we\u2019d never had outside writers on any of that stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n
