Tarek El Moussa<\/strong><\/a> got a win in his battery case that stemmed from an altercation in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly<\/em> on Friday, August 15, the judge dismissed El Moussa\u2019s misdemeanor battery charge on August 5. That status change came after El Moussa, 43, completed \u201cimpulse control counseling\u201d and stayed \u201cout of trouble.\u201d<\/p>\n

News broke in June that El Moussa got into a fight<\/a> at The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed to Us<\/em> that they responded to a call at 11:06 p.m..<\/p>\n

According to a police report obtained by Us<\/em> at the time, El Moussa allegedly \u201ccharged\u201d at a man and \u201cshoved him\u201d after the man interacted with the HGTV star\u2019s elderly father. The man \u201cshoved him back and they both took a fighting stance,\u201d and \u201cthe man then appeared to go for a takedown\u201d on El Moussa\u2019s legs. El Moussa allegedly \u201cstruck the man with his knee and caused him to fall to the floor.\u201d The Flip Off<\/em> star allegedly \u201cmounted his back\u201d and \u201cthrew 3 more strikes with his fist to the head of [the victim] before getting up and walking away.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTarek El Moussa celebrated a major family milestone with ex Christina Haack and their kids shortly after news broke that he was involved in a physical altercation. The former couple joined forces to honor their daughter, Taylor, 14, as she wrapped up her middle school experience. \u201cTaylor we are so proud of you and so [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

El Moussa told the authorities that the man \u201chit his dad on the back with his hand,\u201d and so he \u201cgot out of his chair to confront [him] to protect his dad due to him having back problems.\u201d<\/p>\n

The victim<\/a> suffered a \u201cpurple and reddish\u201d bruise underneath his right eye and a half-inch cut on his nose. He did not seek medical treatment.<\/p>\n

Following the incident, El Moussa received a citation for battery in lieu of being arrested.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> reached out to El Moussa for comment at the time and did not hear back.<\/p>\n

El Moussa was in Las Vegas for a speaking engagement. He was supported by his parents, wife Heather Rae El Moussa<\/strong> and other loved ones for the special occasion.<\/p>\n

The Sin City excursion was just for two days. After Tarek completed his speech, he and his family celebrated with drinks and a show before flying back home to Orange County, California.<\/p>\n
