They\u2019ve worked together on and off since Berninger\u2019s debut, <em><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pastemagazine.com\/music\/matt-berninger\/serpentine-prison-review\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Serpentine Prison<\/a><\/em>, collaborating (along with Resynator) on a cover of Tom Petty\u2019s \u201cOnly a Broken Heart\u201d four years ago.<\/p>\n<div id=\"revcontent-hidden\">\n<p>Cut to now, as Laws begins turning towards her solo music, teasing what will likely end up being a follow-up to her 2022 debut, <em>Pity to Love<\/em>. Berninger is filling the feature role on new single \u201cDisaster,\u201d her second release of 2025 (following \u201cGet Rich Fix\u201d). Ronboy is also slated to open Berninger\u2019s upcoming European shows.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing hard on myself is usually a conversation I have within the privacy of my own mind,\u201d Laws shared in a press release. \u201cBut now Matt is responding to my thoughts\u2026 publicly.
