The reason why, according to Sneider, is that for three weeks, Downey was not involved in on-set filming.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to Sneider, during production, there were times when Downey would be present on set to read lines for Doctor Doom, but not be involved in the scenes. In his place, body and face doubles would be standing in the movie. However, Sneider noted, eventually Downey realized the situation was not working, and requested to reshoot the entire three week\u2019s of scenes, with him in the actual Doctor Doom costume.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Sneider notes the report is nothing but a rumor he\u2019s heard when asking about the movie. However, reshoots are no stranger to the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
