Steve Lacy<\/a> has been biting his tongue about details of his new music. But now, he\u2019s ready to share it with the world.<\/p>\n In an interview with Rolling Stone<\/a> <\/em>published Thursday, August 14, the singer and multi-instrumentalist revealed the title of his upcoming fourth album. The album \u2014 titled Oh Yeah?<\/em> is set for release later this year.<\/p>\n The album comes three years after the release of his 2022 album Gemini Rights<\/em>, which spawned the viral hit \u201cBad Habit.\u201d \u201cBad Habit\u201d proved to be a hit for Lacy, as it peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard <\/em>Hot 100 and was nominated for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance at the 2023 Grammys. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n Lacy<\/a> himself explained why the album took so long to make. \u201cI keep using the word \u2018design.\u2019 It feels like fully designing a new language for myself.\u201d<\/p>\n Before Lacy found success as a solo artist, he joined hip-hop and R&B collective The Internet<\/a> in 2015. He contributed vocals, instrumentation, and production to their 2015 album Ego Death<\/em>. His work on the album earned him a Grammy nomination in 2016. He once again contributed to The Internet\u2019s 2018 album Hive Mind<\/em>.<\/p>\n Though it\u2019s been seven years since The Internet put out a proper album \u2014 as artists like Lacy and Syd<\/a> have been dropping solo material \u2014 Lacy revealed that the group has been \u201changing out\u201d and new music may soon be on the way.<\/p>\n In the meantime, fans can look forward to new music from Lacy imminently.
