Five years later, Madison Prewett<\/strong> is finally opening up about her time on Peter Weber<\/strong>‘s season of The Bachelor<\/em>.<\/p>\n

While starring in the reality dating series from 2019-2020, Prewett unintentionally lost a significant amount of weight during filming.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was traumatizing. I lost like, 20 pounds,\u201d Prewett, 29, said during the Wednesday, August 13, episode of the\u00a0Unplanned Podcast<\/a><\/em> alongside her husband Grant Troutt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Prewett was a top contender for Weber’s final rose that season, up until she broke up with him one day before he proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss<\/strong>. Sluss, who is now married to professional football player\u00a0Jake Funk<\/strong>, broke up with Weber after suspecting he still had feelings for Prewett and former Bachelorette<\/em> star Hannah Brown<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Weber ended up pursuing a second chance with Prewett, but his mother, Barbara Weber<\/strong>, publicly denounced their relationship during his season’s After the Final Rose<\/em> special.<\/p>\n

During the podcast episode, Prewett was asked how she \u201ckept her composure\u201d while Peter’s mother criticized their relationship on live television.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t even remember what aired and what [didn \u2019t],\u201d Madi said. \u201cY\u2019all, I don\u2019t even know if I watched my season all the way through, I\u2019ll be very honest,\u201d she said. \u201cI very much removed myself from all things Bachelor<\/em>. Even to this day, I really don\u2019t talk about it a ton.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prewett has not appeared in any Bachelor<\/em> franchise shows since her initial appearance on Weber’s season. In 2022, she married her husband, who is the son of billionaire\u00a0Kenny Troutt<\/strong>, and the couple welcomed daughter Hosanna Rose<\/strong> earlier this year.<\/p>\n
