We can’t get enough of Dan Levy<\/a>!<\/p>\n Ever since Schitt’s Creek<\/a><\/em> went off the air in 2020, fans have been waiting for creator\/star Dan Levy’s next starring role in a series. Now we know what that next show will be.<\/p>\n Levy has announced that his newest series, Big Mistakes<\/em>, a family crime comedy series, is now in production for Netflix<\/a>.<\/p>\n He shared a post on Instagram<\/a> showing him working on set with several of the actors from the series. While there’s no preview for the show yet, some information has been released.<\/p>\n Here’s what we know!<\/p>\n Big Mistakes<\/em><\/em> is a family crime comedy that follows “two deeply incapable siblings” played by Dan Levy and Taylor Ortega (Welcome to Flatch<\/em><\/em>), who are blackmailed and forced into the world of organized crime. Laurie Metcalf (Lady Bird<\/em><\/em>) also stars as their mother.<\/p>\n Big Mistakes<\/em><\/em> is a part of Dan Levy’s overall deal he signed with Netflix<\/a> following the runaway success of Schitt’s Creek<\/em>, a CBC series that exploded in popularity after it appeared on the streaming giant. Previously, Levy made the romantic drama Good Grief<\/a><\/em><\/em> in 2023. In addition to writing and directing, Levy starred in the film alongside Ruth Negga, Himesh Patel, and Luke Evans.<\/p>\n Levy created Big Mistakes<\/em><\/em> with Rachel Sennott (Bottoms<\/a><\/em><\/em>), who will also executive produce.<\/p>\n Levy is starring<\/a> in Big Mistakes<\/em><\/em> along with Taylor Ortega and Laurie Metcalf. Other series regulars include Jack Innanen (Adults<\/em><\/em>), Boran Kuzum, and Abby Quinn. Elizabeth Perkins, Jacob Gutierrez, Joe Barbara, Josh Fadem, and Mark Ivanir will recur.<\/p>\n “I’m so excited to be bringing this truly chaotic family story to life with Netflix,\u201d Levy said in a release from the streamer<\/a>. “I’m thrilled with the team we\u2019re building both behind the scenes and in front of the camera.
