Rosal\u00eda<\/a> has said her upcoming fourth album doesn\u2019t sound like her last one \u201cat all\u201d.<\/p>\n The Catalan pop star is currently working on the follow-up to her Latin Grammy<\/a>\u00a0Award-winning album, 2022\u2019s \u2018Motomami<\/a>\u2018.\u00a0So far, little has been revealed about the upcoming LP, but now she\u2019s revealed in a new interview with ELLE<\/em><\/a> that it will be very different to its predecessor.<\/p>\n When asked what she could reveal about the album, she told the magazine, \u201cthat it doesn\u2019t sound like my previous album at all.\u201d<\/p>\n She went on to add that she\u2019s taking her time with the project and avoiding the pressure to quickly capitalise on \u2018Motomami\u201ds success.<\/p>\n \u201cThe rhythm [of the music industry] is so fast. And the sacrifice, the price to pay, is so high,\u201d she said. \u201cThe driving force that leads you to continue making music, to continue creating, has to come from a place of purity.<\/p>\n \u201cMotives like money, pleasure, power\u2026 I don\u2019t feel that they are fertile. Nothing will come out of there that I\u2019m really interested in. It\u2019s like I still have the same questions and the same desire to answer them. I still have the same love for the past and the same curiosity for the future.\u201d<\/p>\n Rosal\u00eda has also hinted previously at her upcoming material whilst celebrating her track \u2018Despecha\u2019 reaching 1billion streams on Spotify \u2013 making Rosal\u00eda the first Spanish artist to reach the achievement.<\/p>\n In a caption, she wrote:\u00a0\u201cHopefully life will allow me to share many more songs. For now, I\u2019m still working on the new album and I can only say that the wait will be worth it.\u201d<\/p>\n NME <\/em>gave \u2018Motomami\u2019 five stars:<\/a>\u00a0\u201cRosal\u00eda isn\u2019t so much carving out her own lane as building her own ultra-modern, super-bendy sonic motorway. It\u2019s one you\u2019ll want to hurtle down again and again.\u201d<\/p>\n In the years since, the singer has released multiple collaborative tracks, including \u2018New Woman\u2019<\/a>\u00a0with\u00a0BLACKPINK<\/a>\u2018s\u00a0Lisa<\/a>, her song with Bj\u00f6rk<\/a>, called\u00a0\u2018Oral\u2019<\/a> and last September\u2019s \u2018Omega\u2019<\/a> featuring\u00a0Ralphie Choo<\/a>.<\/p>\n She\u2019s also set to star on the upcoming season three of HBO\u2019s Euphoria<\/em><\/a>, marking her first foray into acting<\/a>.<\/p>\n Elsewhere, she recently\u00a0responded to the fashion designer who refused to work with her due to her lack of public support for Palestine<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
