Over the next six hours, &#8216;Roo-goers were asked to shelter in their vehicles as weather oscillated between gentle showers and thunderstorms.<\/p>\n<p>About an inch of rain fell on Manchester, according to the National Weather Service, causing swampy and muddy conditions in Centeroo and the surrounding campgrounds in Outeroo.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"presto-h2 wp-block-heading\">What artists playing Bonnaroo have said about festival cancellation<\/h2>\n<p>After news broke about the festival&#8217;s cancellation, artists on the bill started to post their reactions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Bonnaroo cancelled :(&#8221; DJ <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/johnsummit\/\">John Summit<\/a> posted on his Instagram story. &#8220;So bummed for everyone who came, this was gonna be a special one but u can&#8217;t control Mother Nature.. stay safe til next time fam.&#8221; Summit was scheduled to perform on June 13.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Bonnaroo&#8230;one of the best festivals in the world,&#8221; <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/glassanimals\/\">Glass Animals <\/a>said on their story. &#8220;We were so d*** excited and had some special stuff for you&#8230; I&#8217;m sorry, be safe, and we&#8217;ll be back.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Rock band <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/goosetheband\/\">Goose<\/a> also posted on their story. &#8220;So sorry for all those in the campground and anyone who made the effort to come see us and all the other amazing acts this weekend,&#8221; they said.<\/p>\n<p>The band said they would be premiering a set from their second night of shows in Colorado at 9:30 p.m. CST on Youtube on June 13 for free.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is for anyone who is heartbroken at the Bonnaroo news right now, hope to make it back to the farm sometime soon,&#8221; Goose said.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"presto-h2 wp-block-heading\">Show must go on: Bonnaroo artists vie to set up make up sets in Nashville<\/h2>\n<p>Music producer <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ofthetreesmusic\/\">Of The Trees<\/a> was slated to perform on June 13 at midnight. On their story, they announced a Nashville show in place of the Bonnaroo set at <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.prekindle.com\/event\/79341-of-the-trees-x-tape-b-x-detox-unit-nashville?fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAaeYez5zJ-EVv-N8axYLGYkw6VXLoJXwzL9-2XXdXYRBpFmrOB9bmZ5p9oSP5A_aem_jGBDO0_KhZv2qHMNqJjU4A\">Cannery Hall from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>So did EDM trio <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/levity.music\/\">Levity<\/a>, who said they will now be performing with <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/inzomusic\/\">Inzo<\/a> at The Pinnacle in Nashville for a June 14 show. They said that tickets will be on sale tomorrow, and you can sign up at a link in their Instagram story.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Roo set canceled due to weather. I&#8217;m so f***ing sad,&#8221; electronic artist Effin\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/effinofficial\/\">said on Instagram<\/a>.\u00a0He was one of the first sets canceled before the festival was officially called off.<\/p>\n<p>Punk band Mannequin Pussy was in a similar situation. &#8220;MPs set has been cancelled due to severe thunderstorms,&#8221;\u00a0they <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/stories\/mannequinpussy\/3654319178254808607\/\">posted on Instagram<\/a>. &#8220;Really truly deeply hope we get to come back next year &#8230; we were READY TO GO.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Everyone please stay safe,&#8221; said pop band Post Sex Nachos on<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DK3H_Ykz-ic\/?img_index=1\"> Bonnaroo&#8217;s cancellation post<\/a>, a group that was slated to perform at Bonnaroo on Sunday night at the new Infinity Stage.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"presto-h2 wp-block-heading\">Will Bonnaroo 2025 offer refunds?<\/h2>\n<p>Yes, the festival will offer refunds.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Bonnaroo\/status\/1933684985439072704?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1933684985439072704%7Ctwgr%5Ec09068f726569db4ff188bdbb3793bc46b820e38%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fpresto-suite.gannettdigital.com%2Fquick-view%2F84195979007%3Fauth%3DfalseassetKey%3De34102b3-acfa-486a-90c1-d79d4ea94dbc\">In a post on X<\/a>, Bonnaroo posted their updated refund policy for this year:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All 1-Day Friday, Saturday and Sunday Admission Tickets purchased via Front Gate Tickets and 1-Day Friday, Saturday and Sunday Day Parking purchased via Front Gate Tickets will be refunded.<\/li>\n<li>All 4-Day Admission Tickets purchased via Front Gate Tickets will receive a 75% refund.<\/li>\n<li>All 4-Day camping accommodations purchased via Front Gate Tickets will receive a 75% refund.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The festival posted on social media that all refunds will be processed in as little as 30 days to the original method of payment.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"presto-h2 wp-block-heading\">How festival-goers are responding to Bonnaroo cancellation<\/h2>\n<p>Festival attendees have had mixed reactions about the cancellation, but the overall consensus is disappointment.<\/p>\n<p>Over 2,300 comments have flooded the cancellation post on Instagram, some expressing anger about the 75% refund the festival has offered for 4-Day passes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;100% refund. We spent hella on transportation, food, etc. &#8216;rain or shine,'&#8221; one person said. &#8220;Literally spent THOUSANDS of dollars flying from Hawaii\u2026\u2026. first roo and most likely my last,&#8221; another person said.<\/p>\n<p>Other commenters disagree. &#8220;They could give 200% refund and yall still wouldn\u2019t be happy they\u2019re prioritizing your safety,&#8221; a commenter wrote.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This breaks my heart for all the vendors who spent thousands of dollars to be there and are losing over two days of projected sales and their entire vending fee,&#8221; said another. &#8220;Y\u2019all have the audacity to be mad about a 75% refund\u2026 but vendors don\u2019t get refunds AT ALL in these situations.
