Ashley McBryde really did try to avoid all of this, but a week after announcing on social media that she would not be talking to fans at meet and greets in an effort to rest her ailing vocal cords, she is now having to cancel shows.<\/p>\n
McBryde, 42, shared the news on Monday to with a post to her Instagram stories. <\/b><\/a><\/p>\n \u201cMy voice has been struggling over the past few weeks, and as much as it pains me, I won\u2019t be able to play my shows this week,\u201d she wrote. \u201cMy doctors have made it crystal clear: my voice needs complete rest to heal.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s nothing I want more than to be back giving you 100%,\u201d she added. \u201cThank you for understanding. I\u2019ll see you soon.\u201d<\/p>\n McBryde announced last Wednesday in a video she shared to social media that she was not going to be talking to fans at meet and greets due to her vocal struggles. <\/p>\n \u201cTrybe, doc says I\u2019m working on busted up vocal cords,\u201d she wrote along with the video. \u201cThe last thing I wanna do is cancel any meet greets or Heaven forbid SHOWS.
