Kate took a step back from her public-facing duties last year after she was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer<\/a>. The Princess of Wales confirmed her diagnosis in March 2024, taking a hiatus from her royal engagements to undergo chemotherapy. Kate revealed in January that she was in remission.<\/p>\n\u201cYou put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment.
