The deaths of Glee <\/i><\/a>stars Cory Monteith<\/strong><\/a>, Naya Rivera<\/strong><\/a> and Mark Salling<\/strong><\/a> are still difficult for their former costar Dianna Agron<\/strong><\/a> to process.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s hard to think of our loved ones from the show not being present with us anymore because they feel so present in my heart, body, mind, soul, all of it,\u201d Agron, 39, said on the Wednesday, August 13, episode<\/a> of the \u201cAnd That\u2019s What You REALLY Missed\u201d podcast. \u201cI think that tenderness I feel and the memories that I have [of] who Cory, Naya and Mark were as people, as cast members, as our friends and family [are] just so vivid.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cThat will never dissipate for me, ever. I think there\u2019s beauty in that. I could replay memory after memory after memory.\u201d<\/p>\n

Agron played Quinn Fabray on Fox\u2019s Glee <\/i>opposite Monteith\u2019s Finn Hudson. Rivera and Salling played Santana Lopez and Noah \u201cPuck\u201d Puckerman, respectively.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tGlee introduced the world to quite a talented group of actors when musical comedy-drama debuted on Fox in 2009. It was Ryan Murphy\u2018s third series, following teen drama Popular and dark medical drama Nip\/Tuck. The series focused on the William McKinley High School glee club, the New Directions, as they tried to balance choir competition [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Monteith died in July 2013<\/a>, two years before Glee <\/i>wrapped, <\/i>following an accidental overdose at the age of 31. Salling died by suicide in 2018<\/a> at the age of 35, and Rivera drowned in a fatal boating accident<\/a> in 2020 after getting her young son, Josey, to safety.<\/p>\n

Agron further said that she often looks back on her former costars\u2019 talent and work ethic with fondness in the years since their respective deaths.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was a teddy bear, and I mean that in a way of his kindness and groundedness in himself was so perfect,\u201d Agron recalled of Monteith, who played her on-again, off-again TV boyfriend. \u201cHe was this tall, big brotherly presence in all of our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201c[Cory] just felt so safe and equally excited about what he was getting to experience with his character. His character had a leadership position in the show, as well, and there was not an ungenerous bone in his body.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tLea Michele is looking back on grieving the death of her boyfriend and Glee costar, Cory Monteith, while still filming the musical show. \u201cI had a tour bus that would go past my house in West Hollywood and you would hear, \u2018Lea Michele [is] Rachel Berry on Glee,\u2019 and then I would hear \u2018Don\u2019t Rain [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Monteith was a leader on the Glee <\/i>set, that same spirit extended when the cameras cut.<\/p>\n
