Charli XCX<\/a> is officially closing the chapter on her Brat<\/em> era.<\/p>\n On Friday (Aug. 15), the 33-year-old pop star delivered the final headlining performance in support of her blockbuster album Brat<\/em> at the One Universe Festival in Gwacheon-si, South Korea.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n To mark the occasion, Charli \u2014 who married<\/a> The 1975<\/a>\u2019s George Daniel in July \u2014 surprised fans with a cryptic message and a teaser for her next creative endeavor.<\/p>\n \u201cPlease don\u2019t let it be over,\u201d read a message on a massive video screen behind her as she strutted across the stage.<\/p>\n Shortly after the performance, she took to Instagram<\/a> to share a photo of the dramatic moment, along with a short clip featuring a film slate teasing her upcoming A24 project The Moment<\/em>, a film based on an original concept by Charli herself.<\/p>\n The English singer-songwriter dominated last summer with the release of her sixth studio album, Brat<\/em>, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, her highest position to date. With its viral lime-green cover, club-ready production, and unexpected influence<\/a> on the 2024 U.S. presidential race, Brat<\/em> catapulted Charli from cult favorite to full-fledged pop icon.<\/p>\n Now, following the success of the album and its accompanying tour, Charli appears to be shifting her focus to film.
