A simple wave from Sophie Turner<\/a> led to the demise of a celebrity couple\u2019s engagement.<\/p>\n The Game of Thrones<\/em><\/a> actress shared the story with Seth Meyers<\/a>, explaining that during a San Diego Comic Con after party held during the early seasons of GoT, <\/em>things \u201cwent really south, really quick\u201d and ended in a breakup.<\/p>\n “We were gonna have a great night,” the actress said. “I really can’t name names or I’ll get in a lot of trouble, but I brought my best friend from my school days with me, and she saw this actor that she loved.”<\/p>\n COMPLEX SHOP:<\/b> Shop the brands you love, anytime and anywhere. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n Since the after-party honored the HBO series, Turner\u2019s friend asked her to say hi to the actor.<\/p>\n “I didn’t know this actor,” Turner admitted, so, instead, she waved. \u201cLater on, I see this girl looking at me, and she’s a famous actress. I was like, ‘Oh, I have to go and tell her how much she means to me.'”<\/p>\n “So, I dance on over and she goes, ‘Can you stop fucking flirting with my fianc\u00e9?'” the 29-year-old remembered. \u201cI think they broke their engagement off that night because of my wave.”<\/p>\n She joked, “I didn’t realize I held this power.”<\/p>\n Turner also touched on working with her GoT<\/em> co-star, Kit Harington<\/a>, on the new horror film, The Dreadful<\/em>. In GoT<\/em>, Harington and Turner\u2019s characters are related, with the former playing Jon Snow and the latter, Sansa Stark.<\/p>\n “I sent the script to Kit and he sent me a message back going like, ‘Yeah, I’d love to, but this is going to be really fucking weird, Soph,'” she said. “I was like, ‘What is he talking about?’ I was reading it and I’m like ‘kiss, kiss, sex, kiss, sex.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, shoot, that’s my brother.’<\/p>\n However, not wanting to pass up on the opportunity, they bit the bullet.<\/p>\n “So, we put it out of our minds, and then we get on set and it’s the first kissing scene and we are both retching,” she said. “Really, it is vile.
